What does the Winparts distribution centre do?
Winparts’ distribution centre (DC) delivers more than 2,500 parcels a day to satisfied customers! Winparts is the online platform for car parts in the Netherlands and Europe. They are part of Alliance Automotive Group Benelux (AABG). In our DC, goods arrive from e.g. suppliers and orders are prepared for shipment. The DC delivers the required goods to individuals.
What the position entails
In this position, you will work in our distribution centre (DC) in Ede. Together with your colleagues, you will handle inbound and outbound goods flows. You pick orders, store incoming goods and perform internal goods movements. You also organise the warehouse, so that all work on the floor can be carried out as quickly and smoothly as possible. As assistant logistics team leader, you also have a coordinating role and manage employees in their operational responsibilities. In case of questions, you will be the first point of contact.
Good to know:
- Working hours are between 05:00 and 23:00 (shift work);
- If you work in shifts then you will receive 15% shift bonus every month;
- If you do not work shifts but work before 06:00 or after 18:00, you will receive hourly bonuses;
- Working hours will be determined in consultation with the Team Leader;
- Saturday shifts (not weekly) are part of the job, working hours are between 09:00 and 17:30
What are we looking for?
- You have relevant work experience in a logistics environment (wholesale/technical);
- You have at least MBO working and thinking level;
- You are available for 40 hours a week for shifts;
- You live in the area of Ede.
